What we publish
Calculated cost ranges for interstate moves, organised by route, state corridor, city, distance, and home size. Currently 2,300 city routes are priced and published, each derived from its own distance, market indices, and shipment assumptions rather than from a shared paragraph.
How this is different from a quote form
A quote form collects your details and hands them to movers. This site does the estimating work first: it derives a distance, applies a documented rate model, shows what changes the number, and only then offers to connect you with carriers for actual quotes. If you never fill in a form, the site still answered your question.
How we make money
We may be compensated when a user requests quotes through this site. That relationship does not touch the pricing model: estimates are calculated identically whether or not you submit anything. See the advertising disclosure.
